Silly, the fairytale

I just moved into my new home, here is Silly (Gondrignies), within the grounds of the Castle of Morval. I am truly thrilled by the place. We are end June 2025.

When you arrive in this fairytale setting, you become silently attracted to the intricate beauty of the place. This is Gondregnies, a subvillage of the town of Silly, in the province of Hainaut, in Belgium.

We are witnessing times gone by, but still existing and colorful. These are the ancient stables that have been altered into houses to live in. 

There are 9 houses in total and each accommodates inhabitants that bring life to this hameau, or hamlet consisting of those 9 houses. 

Charming it is, especially as you can be witness of the castle this hameau belongs to.  The castle of Morval is an ancient beauty belonging to the family d'Oultremont.
